The effectiveness and therapeutic success of an insole depend largely on the quality of the “foot data” collected, as well as on knowledge about foot diseases and their treatment options. Our collection of data by taking photos of the feet from different perspectives is possible using modern 3D reconstruction. This is why this method is superior to foam footbeds and foot scans.
Another advantage of the photos is that skin changes, which can also indicate incorrect loading, are much easier to interpret. In addition, your image data can be archived.
Video-documented gait analysis is rarely carried out by a doctor or shoe technician. Not only static, but also dynamic information about the foot are important analysis details that must be taken into account when making insoles.
Yes, orthopedic shoe insoles are medical products, but like bandages or other aids, they can be purchased over the counter without a prescription.
One of the advantages of our Kokochii insole is that it has a great orthopedic effect despite taking up little space. Kokochii insoles also fit into shoes with very little space, such as ballerina flats, business shoes or boots.
For some shoes it may be advantageous to remove the existing sole, but it is not absolutely necessary.
Open sandals usually offer the foot significantly less support than closed shoes and very few sandals are suitable for insoles. If sandals can be fitted with insoles, the Kokochii carbon insole can be made especially and exclusively for this sandal on request. In such a case, however, we require separate information.
Our Kokochii P1 insole, for example, was specially developed for pumps. Send us a photo of your pumps and we will decide whether a Kokochii P1 insole can be fitted.
This is usually not necessary if you have bought your shoes in the correct size for your feet. In the event that the shoe is cut very tightly or is made of a very firm material (e.g. patent leather), the shoe may become too tight with Kokochii insoles and should then be purchased a size larger.
Our Kokochiis are made of PA12 and are manufactured using a laser sintering process. PA12 is a plastic with high wear resistance and good sliding and friction properties. This has already been proven in the long lifespan of our Kokochiis - up to four years without loss of shape and strength. Polyamide 12 is also easy to rework, absorbs little sweat and remains odorless.
The Kokochiis can be washed in the washing machine at 40 degrees, so you have a hygienically perfect product.
The orthopedic effectiveness of our Kokochii insoles lasts for a very long time, as the insoles made of polyamide 12 do not lose their stability in the long term.
Depending on use, the cover material may wear out and the cushioning may become less effective. We offer to replace the cover material at a low cost. It often makes sense to use a second pair of insoles to minimize the need to change shoes frequently. This also increases the durability of the insoles.
The Kokochii insoles are a customized product that we make exclusively for your feet and your pain problem. They are based on your information, photos and video material. We cannot take the insole back. However, since our in-depth knowledge and expertise always lead to accurate results, this case occurs very rarely.
If you are still dissatisfied with your insoles, you can contact us at any time and we will get to the bottom of the problem together. If the problem can be solved, you send us the insoles at your own expense and we will make the necessary adjustments. You will then receive your insoles back by post. We will cover these shipping costs.
Our insoles are a high-quality product that is manufactured with maximum orthopedic experience and according to current medical standards. Insoles of the same or similar quality are usually significantly more expensive than the Kokochiis.
Shipping costs within Germany are EUR 4.95. Shipping costs to other European countries are EUR 7.95.
